Fundraisers:
Simple Fundraiser: No
new information.
Coupon Books: We will try to sell again when school starts.
There is a lot left, they don’t expire until
Football Concessions: The Sports/Football Boosters will
share concessions with us and the PTO. Bob I met with PTO and Football Boosters
yesterday. The Concession Stand has not been completed. There will not be a
great deal of room for set up and storage. We do not know if the electrical
system will handle the cotton candy and popcorn machines. Bob will bring the
generator. Ice may be available from the cafeteria, but it will have to be
bagged and hauled. For the first game, we will buy bagged ice as we have done
previously. All groups involved will buy supplies. The Band Boosters will
supply the bank and representatives from two of the groups will count the take.
Kathy H will tally the profits and issue checks to other groups along will an
accounting of the expenses.
Sodexho: We have a new contract in place for a
food stand. We will need a minimum of 6 people per game. Volunteers can sign
up in Doc’s office. We will eventually need to get food handler’s permits.
Albertson’s Community Partners
Program: No new
information.
Business:
Polo Shirts: No new information.
Awards Banquet: No new information.
Storage: Pit Cart storage is available in the new
building, but no longer needed. The storage area also has very limited access.
We discussed using a cargo container and adding shelving.
Future E-Board meetings: Due to the change in the General
meeting dates, Executive Board meeting will now be held on the 4th Monday
of every month at
Nomination Committee: A Nomination Committee will be chosen
at the next General meeting to select candidates for the 2008-2009 Executive
Board. Voting will be in November.
Dues: It is time to pay Membership dues.
Fees of $5.00 per person need to be paid by the October General meeting. Dues
must be paid in order to vote.
Other: The Yahoo group shared by the Band
Boosters was ‘hacked into” recently and members received SPAM. Nathan Porter
sent a complaint to Yahoo. A request was made to update the student contact/e
mail list.
