Fundraisers:

 

Community yard Sale:  Date 5/16/09 7am -12pm, First Baptist Church of Scottsdale, 7025 E Osborn Selling spaces for $15 there are 71 spaces.  We will operate the concessions.  And the church coffee shop will give us a percentage.  Gold rush event will take place too.  Sellers will provide their own tables.  Community announcement will go in paper.

 


Business:

 

Uniform Room

Wood for uniform room has been ordered should be here next week.

 

Charms
We will have to do end of year/close of year for June.

 

There will be 79 kids in band next year, as of this meeting (not including guard)

 

Band camp will cost $220.00 for the week. 
Glove orders (style varies by section)

Fees (divided by section)
Transportation Fee

Will be attending Mountain Point, Barry Goldwater Agua Fria and State.

No away games.

 

Next years Fees
$15 awards

$25 uniform cleaning fee

 

Guard consultant negotiations are still in progress.

 

Need to raise dollars for Staff and Spring tour.  Red and Blue drive was suggested and discussed.  (Judy E.)  Envelope donation drive, more to come on this

Awards Banquet

5/14/09, will be a pot luck.  Booster will provide dessert, rolls and drinks (water and lemonade)  It will be held at the LDS Church on 74th st. south of the school.  The church will let us use their tables and table cloths.  We will buy utensils and paper plates.  Mlee will get jugs and lemonade.  She will check on the use of the church's projector and screen for Melinda's senior presentation.

 

Freshman will bring Salads

Sophomores will bring Vegetables

Juniors will bring Sides
Seniors will bring main dish

All must feed 10 people.

 

Judy E will get tableware, plates, cups and napkins.

A drawing will be held at the banquet to give away the donated Disneyland Tickets, Supershuttle vouchers and Harpers GC.  We also have Harkins tickets, but need to check on expiration date.

Will sell tickets for 1 for $1, 6 for $5, 12 for $10 and 25 for $20.  Mlee has the tickets.

 

No status on pictures.  Dina was to contact Zack Kessler's grandfather.
