Secretary’s Report:

Keith seconded. Motion was approved.
Treasurer’s Report:

Judy moved
to accept the April Treasurers Reports. Nathan. seconded. Motion was
approved.
Old Business:
Awards Banquet Awards Banquet will begin at 6pm Thursday evening. We have 101 confirmed guests. Melinda will take money at the door. Mlee will do the decorations. Francine ordered the awards for the night. All engraving has been done. Doc was not at the meeting, so Francine will take the awards home with her and keep them until the banquet. The band kids will help set up the tables.
Yard Sale Mlee
reported that there were 8 spots reserved so far. Boosters have a space
and there have been items donated for us to sell. Mlee will handle that
sale. Melinda will run concessions. Need to make signs.
Submitted to newspaper, Craig's list and the City of Scottsdale and City of
Tempe. Coffee shop will donate 10% of their proceeds that day. We
will sell water, muffins, cookies, soda, Gatorade and donuts. Need to
purchase ice. We will arrive at 5:00 am, sale will begin at 7:00 am
Dede's cave (Uniform Closet): Cabinets are being built at Bob Komlos' house and will be delivered to the band room when completed. May need help with installation.
Band Camp The district is charging the boosters $1072 for electricity for the week. Need to check to see if football team can share the cost? Mlee will check. We are charging $220 per student for the camp. It may have to go up to cover this electricity charge. It was brought up that they are offering free meals (Breakfast and Lunch ) at Sierra Vista during band camp. Will need to check and see if we can use this.
Graduation We will be
selling Roses, soda and Italian Ice. Mlee will contact Barnett Jacobs to
arrange selling at yard sale and graduation (Nathan may check for us)
Fund raisers over the summer?
Car Wash, Bowling, Blue and Red envelope campaign were discussed.
Red and Blue envelope campaign will begin at the Band Camp Meeting this summer.
Doc will set up the date for that meeting. We will hold our first band
Booster meeting of the school year at that meeting.
