Business:

Fund Raising
Fall Festival October 31^st, El Dorado Park

(a) Plan: City of Scottsdale asked us to substantial food for sale, along with Popcorn and cotton candy. We will make popcorn and cotton candy, will buy pre cooked meat from local restaurant, tortillas and assemble burritos on site for sale @ $4 each. Decided on shredded beef 150 servings. Quesadillas were also suggested which could be made on an electric griddle, which are cheap to make and are a vegetarian and less spicy alternative. County health permit $85 needed, food handler card for each volunteer. Booth must meet county code – hand washing, sinks, etc. Festival runs from 6-9 pm. Must be set up by 5pm. Volunteers must be there by 4pm. City of Scottsdale will provide tables, chairs, signs, booth, and electricity. Nathan P . and Steve T. will arrange ordering of meat and tortillas. Will use wax paper for serving and napkins. Alicia S. will buy them and deliver to band room.

(b) Volunteers : Sign up sheet was passed around.

Football Concessions

(a) Volunteers:

i. 10/17 Tempe game Homecoming. Need volunteers to set up concessions. Nathan P. John K., Melinda C., and Touples will be able to help. Bob I. needs to get equipment truck for Saturday. An other group is planning a BBQ for the parking lot prior to game. Melinda C. will get and sell water at 4pm. Bob I. Will bring his truck. Will sell our own donated water all proceeds to the Band Boosters.

ii. Oct 24^th Seton Game, Senior Night and Bandarama. Doc meets with feeder school directors tomorrow 10/15 and will discuss needs for Bandarama. Do we need food? Need help setting up and selling in concession stand.

Cotton Candy machine is not working. Keith M. discovered overheated part. Part has been ordered and will be replaced ASAP Cost of part was $40.
Hydration hauling coolers. Mr. Enricquez will fill up jugs by 5:30 Someone needs to haul water out to the stands. Martin P. volunteers, Need to take cups and pitchers. Use green cart in band room.
Concession stand setup sell teardown, tailgate party volunteers will come help after Bob will bring change. Alicia can work 2^nd half on 17^th.

Tax Credit Donation Drive

$450 donated so far. November 21 is deadline. Advertised in the newsletter and website. Nathan may
write a newsletter and had it out at the football games or suggested making a flyer outlining the tax
credit rules and mail it out to parents and hand out.

Tempe Credit Union will give a promissory note for tax credit and will not need to be paid back until
you receive tax return with no interest.

Melinda will create flyer email it to Nathan; he will make required copies for Friday’s game.

Kudzu
Business review pays .75 per review on Donsband.org 90 day window to complete. When should we
start? Not only local can choose other states. Tell others about it!! Must be 18 and over no selling read
reviews by others for example. No limit on reviews, can make up to $10,000 Need to sign up and
provide Tax exemption letter.

December Fund Raiser

Francine requested all committee members get IM for covering details.

ASU Concessions

Still need workers for 10/25 game (same day as Goldwater invitational so students cannot work) 8
People have signed up, we usually have 14 plus.

Friday night after the game, need to load truck for Goldwater Invitational. Sat. AM load uniform
boxes. PM unload truck at Coronado (Go back for awards) Will park equipment truck northwest of stadium.
