Monthly Meeting Minutes

January 8, 2008

Because we did not have a quorum, no official decisions were made at the meeting.

 

No meeting minutes were available from the last meeting in December.

 

A treasurer’s report was distributed.

 

Fundraisers

 

The Boosters made $146 from flower sales at the Holiday Concert in December.

 

A former Band Booster parent made a donation on behalf of her deceased spouse in the amount of $200.

 

Students in BACH sold luminarias prior to Christmas, but we do not have a report yet as to how much money they raised.

 

Business

 

Nathan will obtain the form necessary to submit to the Coronado administration to request permission to sell water bottles and flowers at the graduation ceremony in May.

 

Nathan has reserved a large ramada at Eldorado Park for the potluck picnic on Saturday, February 2nd.  He will make up a combination newsletter/announcement form to be mailed to all band parents, and to Supai 8th grade band parents, if possible.  The plan will be for the students in each grade level to provide parts of the meal similar to the previous potluck picnic.  Nathan asked Molly for BACH’s assistance in planning recreational activities for the picnic.

 

Bob reminded us that the E-Board will have to draft the 2008 budget at the next meeting so that it can be considered for approval at the February Booster meeting.

Friday, January 25th - Second payment of for Spring Trip is due

Saturday, January 26th – Regional Auditions

Monday, January 28th – Booster E-Board Meeting at 7 pm

Saturday, February 2nd – Potluck Picnic at Eldorado (noon3 pm)
